How do I accept or decline a Booking Request?

How to accept or decline a Booking Request, and what the Client sees either way.

When a Client sends you a custom Booking Request, it lands in your Open tab. You decide whether to take it on or not.

Q: How do I accept a Booking Request?

A: You accept a Booking Request by requesting a Deposit. Open the Booking Request, tap Request Deposit, set the amount and expiration, and send it.

We send the Client the Deposit request and remind them if it goes unpaid. Once they pay, the Request moves to your Booked tab.

Need to sort out details first? Message the Client from the Booking Request before you request a Deposit.

For the full walkthrough, see Deposits on CO:CREATE.

Q: How do I decline a Booking Request?

A: Open the Booking Request, tap the three dots in the top right to open Actions, and tap Decline. You can also long-press the Booking Request in your Bookings list to open the same Actions menu.

Before you confirm, you'll see an optional Let {Client name} know checkbox. It's unchecked to start. Check the box if you want us to send a notification to let them know, or leave it empty to decline silently. Then tap Decline.

Q: What happens when I decline?

A: Declining a Booking Request:

  • Cancels any pending payments on it, including an unpaid Deposit request

  • Moves it to your Declined tab

  • Keeps the chat visible for both of you, with messaging turned off

In the chat, you'll both see: "This Booking Request was declined. You can still read this conversation."

Q: Does the Client know I declined?

A: We only notify your Client if you check the box when you Decline.

  • Checked: we let the Client know in the app and by email that you've declined their Booking Request.

  • Unchecked: we don't send the Client anything.

The message doesn't include a reason. If you'd like to share why, message the Client before you decline.

Please note: Even if we don't send a notification, your Client will still see "Declined" on their Booking Request the next time they open it.

Q: Can the Client send me another Booking Request?

A: Yes. Declining closes this Booking Request only, and the Client can still send you a new one. If you need to stop someone from reaching you, see How do I block or report a Client?

Q: Can I decline a Booking that's already been paid?

A: No. Once a Deposit or payment is paid, the Booking moves to Booked and the Decline option goes away. Wanna Do Bookings are Booked the moment the Client pays, so they can't be declined either. If a paid Booking isn't going ahead, or if you need to issue a refund, reach out to the Support Team.
