When an Artist declines your Booking Request, they've decided not to take on the project. Here's what that means and what you can do next.
Q: Why was my Booking Request declined?
A: When it's declined, the Artist has decided not to move forward with this project. Artists decline Booking Requests for a lot of reasons varying from schedule, style fit, or just not having the bandwidth right now, so this isn't a reflection on your idea.
Q: How will I know it was declined?
A: Your Booking Request shows Declined at the top, with the date. You can still read your conversation in chat, but you won't be able to send new messages.
Declining also cancels any unpaid Deposit request, so any pending deposits that were requested can no longer be paid.
Q: Can I decline my own Booking Request?
A: Yes. If you're no longer interested, open your Booking Request, tap the three dots in the top right to open Actions, and tap Decline.
Q: What can I do next?
Send a new Booking Request later. If your idea changes or the Artist's Books open again, you can send them a new one.
