How do I schedule my tattoo appointment?

How scheduling works after you Book: your confirmation email, scheduling links, and messaging your Artist.

Artists all handle their own scheduling in different ways.

Some Artists prefer to schedule appointments themselves, and some prefer Clients to pick their preferred time.

As soon as your first deposit or payment on a Booking is paid, you'll get a confirmation email with some next steps to schedule with your Artist. Depending on how your Artist schedules, you might also see a Schedule Appointment button in your chat.

Your confirmation email will outline Next Steps, which can be:

  • Schedule your own appointment now

  • Message your Artist to discuss scheduling

ℹ️ If you're unsure or have questions, you can message your Artist any time from the booking details link attached in your confirmation email.

Schedule from your chat

Depending on how your Artist schedules, you might see a Schedule Appointment button in your chat after you pay your deposit. Tap it to pick a time yourself. If you don't see one, message your Artist to find a time together.

When we notify you about your appointment

We notify you when your Artist schedules, moves, or cancels your appointment. We also send you a reminder the day before. You get these by email, and by text and push notification if you've turned those on.

  • Scheduled: the date, time, and location

  • Moved: the new time, and the time it was before

  • Canceled: the time it was scheduled for

  • The day before: a reminder. If your appointment was scheduled less than 24 hours ahead, you won't get one.

My appointment was canceled. What about my deposit?

Message your Artist to sort out what's next. Each Artist sets their own policies on cancellations and deposits, and you can find them on their profile.

Artists are running their own businesses and can get busy.

If you've already messaged your Artist about scheduling and haven't heard back yet, it may take a few days for your Artists to get back to you.
