How to request a session balance or payment on CO:CREATE, from an existing Booking or with a Payment Link.

How to Request Session Balances on CO:CREATE

You can request a payment or session balances directly through CO:CREATE.

There are two ways to request a session balance:

  • From the existing Booking (the steps below). Best when the Client already has a Booking on CO:CREATE.

  • With a Custom Payment Link. Best for walk-ins, flash events, end-of-session payments, and Clients who don't have a Booking on CO:CREATE yet.

From an existing Booking

  1. Go to your Bookings list and open the Booking (in your Booked tab).

  2. Tap Request New Payment and fill in the appointment date, the amount due, whether the project is completed, and an optional message.

  3. When the final payment comes in, mark the project completed.

Your Client gets a secure link by email and text to pay the balance through CO:CREATE.

With a Payment Link

For a walk-in, flash session, or a Client you've tattooed off-platform who doesn't have a Booking yet, tap the plus sign on your Bookings list and choose Payment Request.

Need to reopen a project? Select Mark as Open from your Completed tab.

A Custom Payment Link is a better fit when:

  • The Client doesn't have a Booking on CO:CREATE yet (walk-ins, flash sessions, Clients you've tattooed for years off-platform)

  • You're collecting payment at the end of a session and want the Booking to land directly in your Completed tab (use the Mark Completed checkbox on the link)

  • You need to take a pre-payment for an upcoming session from a Client whose Booking isn't on CO:CREATE

To send a Custom Payment Link, tap the plus sign at the bottom of your Bookings list and pick Payment Request. Full walkthrough in What are Pay Links?.
