You can request a payment or session balances directly through CO:CREATE.
There are two ways to request a session balance:
From the existing Booking (the steps below). Best when the Client already has a Booking on CO:CREATE.
With a Custom Payment Link. Best for walk-ins, flash events, end-of-session payments, and Clients who don't have a Booking on CO:CREATE yet.
Request a payment from an existing Booking
Go to your Bookings list and open the Booking (in your Booked tab).
Tap Request Payment in the Next Step banner, tap the + in the Payments section, or tap the three-dot menu (⋮) and tap Request a payment. Fill in the appointment date, the amount due, whether the project is completed, and an optional message.
When the final payment comes in, mark the project completed.
Your Client gets a secure link by email and text to pay the balance through CO:CREATE.
Request a payment with a Payment Link
For a walk-in, flash event, or a Client you've tattooed off-platform who doesn't have a Booking yet, tap the round + button in the middle of the bottom navigation bar and choose Request Payment.
Need to reopen a project? Open the Booking from your Completed tab, tap the three-dot menu (⋮), then tap Re-open booking.
A Custom Payment Link is a better fit when:
The Client doesn't have a Booking on CO:CREATE yet (walk-ins, flash events, Clients you've tattooed for years off-platform)
You're collecting payment at the end of an appointment and want the Booking to land directly in your Completed tab (use the Mark Completed checkbox on the link)
You need to take a pre-payment for an upcoming appointment from a Client whose Booking isn't on CO:CREATE
To send a Custom Payment Link, tap the round + button in the middle of the bottom navigation bar and pick Request Payment. Full walkthrough in What are Pay Links?
