Once you've reviewed a Custom Booking Request and want to move forward, CO:CREATE makes it easy to request a Deposit and confirm the Client.
There are two ways to request a Deposit for a custom tattoo:
From the Booking Request itself (the steps below). Best when the Client has already submitted a Custom Booking Request on CO:CREATE.
With a Pay Link. Best when the conversation started off-platform and the Client doesn't have a Booking on CO:CREATE yet. Pay Links let you skip your Custom Booking Form and get Clients booked now. See What are Pay Links?
Step-by-step: requesting a Deposit from an existing Booking Request
1. Open the Booking Request
Go to your Bookings list
Find the relevant request under the Open tab
Tap to view the details
2. Review the Client info
Scroll through the concept, placement, and budget
Tap Book at the bottom of the screen when you're ready to proceed
3. Fill out the Deposit Request
The Deposit Request screen has three fields:
Amount. Your default Deposit (your Standard Deposit Amount from Pricing settings) auto-fills. Adjust if needed.
Expiration. Choose how long the Client has to pay before the request expires.
Estimate (optional). Your quote for the whole project, as a single amount or a range. Your Client sees it labelled Project Estimate on the Booking, and again on the page where they pay their Deposit.
4. Send to Client
Tap Send to Client
They'll receive a text and email with a link to pay through CO:CREATE
Once paid, you'll get a notification and can move ahead with planning the session.
When to use a Pay Link instead
A Pay Link is a better fit when:
The conversation started in a DM, email, SMS, walk-in, or at a convention, and the Client hasn't already submitted a Custom Booking Request on CO:CREATE
You want to take a custom Deposit amount for one specific Client
You're collecting your standard Deposit from many Clients at once (post the QR at your station, paste the link in your story)
To send a Pay Link, tap the plus sign at the bottom of your Bookings list and pick Deposit Request. Full walkthrough in What are Pay Links?
