How to Request a Deposit for a Custom Tattoo on CO:CREATE

Once you’ve reviewed a Booking Request and want to move forward, CO:CREATE makes it easy to request a deposit—giving you a secure way to confirm the client and lock in the project.


Step-by-step:

1. Open the Booking Request

  • Go to Inquiries in your Artist Dashboard

  • Find the relevant request under Open Inquiries

  • Tap to view the details

2. Review the Client Info

  • Scroll through the concept, placement, and budget

  • Tap Book at the bottom of the screen when you're ready to proceed

3. Fill Out the Deposit Request
On the Deposit Request screen, complete the following:

  • Project Title
    Add a title you’ll recognize later (e.g., “Tiger sleeve” or “Forearm script”)

  • Deposit Amount
    Your default deposit (from your Policy Settings) will auto-fill—adjust if needed

  • Expiration Date
    Choose how long the client has to pay before the request expires

  • Optional Details
    Add a quote or first session date now—or add it later after deposit is paid

  • Message to Client
    Include a short note to set the tone, share excitement, or clarify next steps. It’s a great way to make the process feel personal and professional.

4. Send to Client

  • Tap Send to Client

  • They’ll receive a text and email with a link to pay through CO:CREATE

Once paid, you’ll get a notification and can move ahead with planning the session.
