      How Do I Create An Auction?

      What is an auction?

      Co:Create Ink Auctions allow your tattoo designs to be sold to the highest bidder. Collectors bid against each other, and the design is sold to the collector who offers the highest price. Auctions are a dynamic and competitive way to buy and sell designs, determining their value based on real-time demand. This method can maximize your earnings through market-driven prices and attract collectors by offering an engaging and transparent way to acquire unique designs from their favorite artists.
      Creating an Auction
      1. Visit app.cocreate.ink/tattoos/create, upload your design, and click “Next.”
      2. From the Listing dropdown, select “Auction.”
      3. Set a start time for your auction.
      4. Set the duration. (For a custom duration, please reach out to us directly at help@cocreate.ink)
      5. Set a starting price value. We will not accept bids below this price, and it will be publicly visible to all users.
      6. Optionally, set a reserve price value. Bids below this price will be accepted, but the tattoo will not be sold unless this value is met. The reserve price is hidden from users, but they will be notified if their bid does not meet it.
      7. Set a bid increment. Each new bid must be at least one bid increment above the previous bid, with the smallest increment supported being $1.
      8. Configure the rest of your tattoo details and click “Create.”
      Your auction is now created but not yet publicly visible.
      To make your auction visible:
      1. Click the three dots at the bottom of the tattoo page and select “Publish.”
      Now anyone can see your auction! It will go live on the set start date.
      When an Auction Closes:
      • If you set a reserve price, we ensure the highest bid meets the reserve requirement.
      • If the reserve price is not met, we silently close the auction and notify all bidders that the auction closed due to the reserve price not being met. The tattoo will be unpublished and removed from public view.
      • If the reserve price is met, we email the winner with a link to purchase the design.
      • If there are no bids, we will silently close the auction, and the tattoo will be unpublished and removed from public view.
