What are Pay Links?

Why we built Pay Links

Not all bookings start with a booking form. They start in DMs, emails, at the front desk, at conventions, mid-session, in a text from a Client you've worked with for years. By the time you've discussed the tattoo, the next step is to ask for a deposit, not ask the Client to fill out a form.

Pay Links close that gap. Post a QR at your station or front desk to collect your standard deposit amount from anyone, anytime. Create a Custom Deposit Link for a specific Client. Tattoo an unexpected walk-in? Show them a payment QR to collect the session balance. Ready to take a deposit after emailing back and forth? Create a Custom Deposit Link and send it in your next response.

The three kinds of Pay Links

• Standard Deposit Link. Your evergreen, repeatable URL. Copy it once, paste it everywhere you book Clients. Drop the link in Instagram DMs, or print the QR for your station or conventions. Works for unlimited Clients. Turns off automatically so Clients can't pay when your Books are closed.
• Custom Deposit Link. For one Client, one deposit, on your terms. Set the amount, a concept description, the booking location, and an expiration. Useful for custom amounts or last-minute bookings. Send to a specific Client by email, or post the link in your story so Clients can claim a last-minute opening. These stay available even when your Books are Closed, so you can book Clients individually instead of opening your Books to everyone.
• Payment Link. For when the work is already done, or needs to be pre-paid. Set the amount and share the link with Clients who didn't submit a Booking on CO:CREATE but need to pay for their session. Paying on CO:CREATE gives Clients the option to pay in installments through Klarna or Affirm, while you still get paid in full upfront. Custom Payment Links work even when your Books are Closed.

Use Pay Links for tattoos you haven't booked on CO:CREATE, or request payments for bookings you already have all from the shortcut on your Bookings list. Same payments shortcut for every situation.

What this unlocks

• The Instagram DM. A Client messages you about something they saw on your feed. Two replies later, you've agreed on the design and pricing. Paste your Standard Deposit Link into the thread. They pay, and you can manage the rest on CO:CREATE.
• The end-of-session rebook. Your Client is in the chair at the end of a session, ready to book their next tattoo. Generate a Custom Deposit Link in seconds, show them the QR, they pay before they leave the shop.
• The walk-in or flash event. Twenty Clients in the lobby, a line out the door for quick bangers. Generate a Custom Payment Link, show the QR, get set up for the next one while they pay hands-free.
• The convention or guest spot. Print the QR for your Standard Deposit Link and stick it on your booth. Stop pulling out your phone every time someone wants to commit. Point them to the QR so you can focus on networking.
• The Client you've tattooed for years. First time bringing a longtime Client onto CO:CREATE? Send them a Pay Link. Whether they're in your chair for their third session of a sleeve or texting you about their next idea, send them a Pay Link to get them booked with the rest of your work.
• Your first booking after signing up. New to CO:CREATE? Send a Pay Link to a Client you're already working with, instead of waiting for someone new to submit your booking form.

Get started

Open the app and look for the plus sign at the bottom of your Bookings list. Send your first Pay Link today. A Stripe account must be connected in order to use Pay Links and request payments on CO:CREATE.
