Send Pay Links to collect deposits and payments from any Client, wherever the conversation is happening. Below are answers to the questions Artists ask most.

What is a Pay Link?

A Pay Link is a deposit or payment link you send to a Client to collect money for a Booking. When the Client pays, the Booking lands on your Bookings list automatically. You can use Pay Links for any Booking conversation, whether it started on CO:CREATE or somewhere else.

What are the three kinds of Pay Links?

Three options for every situation:

  • Standard Deposit Link. Your repeatable URL for collecting your default deposit amount from unlimited Clients. Copy and paste into an email or DM, or print the QR for your station or booth to get Clients booked on CO:CREATE.
  • Custom Deposit Link. A one-time link for a specific Client. Use this when you need to request a custom amount, or want to limit how long your Client has to pay the deposit with an expiration date.
  • Payment Link. A one-time link for collecting session balances, walk-in work, flash events, or pre-payments. Set the amount and share the link or QR code.

All three live behind the same shortcut at the bottom of your Bookings list.

How do I send a Pay Link?

Tap the plus sign at the bottom of your Bookings list, then pick Deposit Request or Payment Request to generate a Pay Link. From there you can copy the link, share it anywhere you're already talking to Clients, or show the QR code in person.

Where is my Standard Deposit Link?

In your Pricing settings. Set your Standard Deposit amount, then copy the URL and paste it anywhere you want to book Clients: Instagram DMs, your story, SMS. You can also print the QR code for your station, front desk, or convention booth. This link is safe to send to many Clients to request your standard deposit amount, and is only payable while your Books are Open.

Do Pay Links work when my Books are Closed?

Standard Deposit Links turn off automatically when your Books are Closed, so you won't accidentally take deposits from Clients you can't fit in. Custom Deposit Links and Custom Payment Links stay active even with Books Closed, so you can book individual Clients without opening your Books to everyone.

What happens when a Client pays a Pay Link?

A Booking is created on your Bookings list with the Client's info, the amount paid, and the tattoo description. From there you can schedule appointments, request additional payments, and message the Client like any other Booking.

Do Pay Links expire?

Custom Deposit Links expire. When you create one, you set the expiration (1, 2, 7, 14, or 30 days, with 30 as the default). The Client won't be able to pay after the link expires. Standard Deposit Links and Custom Payment Links don't expire.

Can I send a Pay Link to a Client who's never booked with me on CO:CREATE before?

Yes, absolutely. Send a Pay Link to anyone you're already talking to, regardless of where the conversation started. The Client creates their account at checkout and the Booking lands on your list as soon as they pay. Paying through CO:CREATE also gives Clients Buy Now, Pay Later options like Affirm and Klarna, so you get paid up front while they pay over time.

What about Clients who already have a Booking on CO:CREATE?

When you tap the shortcut and pick a payment type, you'll see your existing Bookings listed. Pick the Booking you want to request a deposit or payment for, set the amount, send. The shortcut is especially useful for requesting deposits or payments on multiple Bookings at a time without navigating into each one individually.

Can Clients pay in installments?

Yes. Clients paying through a Pay Link see the same checkout options as any CO:CREATE payment, including Klarna and Affirm for installments. You still get paid in full upfront.

What does "Mark Completed" do on a Custom Payment Link?

When checked, the Booking lands directly in your Completed tab the moment the Client pays. Useful for walk-ins, flash events, and end-of-session balances on tattoos that are finished and don't need another session. This keeps your Booked tab organized automatically with ongoing work that still needs your attention.

Can I cancel or edit a Pay Link after I send it?

You can turn off your Standard Deposit Link by closing your Books, and you can update your Standard Deposit amount at any time. Custom Deposit Links and Custom Payment Links can't be canceled or changed after you send them to a Client.

Are there extra fees when I send Pay Links?

There is no extra cost to send a Pay Link. Stripe processing fees apply to all payments, and Clients pay a $10 Booking Fee once per Booking Request. All Pay Links create a new Booking, and will attach the Booking Fee. The Booking Fee is paid once, only on the first payment made on a Custom or Wanna Do Booking. Any additional payment requests on a Booking will only have Stripe processing fees applied.
